Terms of service

1. The service

baseNode helps you use the WhatsApp Business Platform: shared inbox, templates, campaigns, automations, chatbots, appointments, payments links and related tools. We are an independent software provider and are not affiliated with or endorsed by Meta or WhatsApp. Features may change; we will give notice of material reductions.

2. Your account

Give accurate information, keep your credentials secure and turn on two-step login for administrators. You are responsible for activity under your account, including your team members. Tell us promptly about any unauthorised access.

3. Meta's rules and consent

You must follow the WhatsApp Business Terms, WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy and Commerce Policy, as updated by Meta. In particular: send marketing messages only to people who have opted in, honour opt-outs immediately, do not send prohibited content, and do not use general-purpose AI assistants on the platform.

Meta may limit, suspend or ban numbers and sets its own prices and message limits. We are not responsible for Meta's decisions or for losses that result from them, but we will help you understand and respond.

4. Fees and wallet

Plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, plus 18% GST. Meta's per-message fees are charged from your prepaid wallet at Meta's rate, shown with GST before every send. Failed sends are refunded to the wallet. Prices and Meta's rates can change; changes to your plan price apply from your next billing period.

If a paid plan is not renewed, the workspace moves to the Free plan after a short grace period. Your data is kept.

5. Payments with your own Razorpay account

If you connect your own Razorpay account to send payment links to your customers, those payments are between you, your customer and Razorpay. We do not handle or hold that money and are not a party to those transactions. You are responsible for taxes, invoices, refunds and disputes on them.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use baseNode to send spam, fraud, harassment, unlawful or deceptive content; to infringe others' rights; to probe or disrupt the service; or to resell it without our written agreement. We may suspend access to protect the service, other customers or the law, and will explain why where we can.

7. Your data

You own your content and customer data. You give us a licence to process it only to provide the service. You are responsible for having the right to upload it and for the consent your customers have given. See our Privacy policy and the Data deletion page for how data is handled, exported and removed.

8. Availability and support

We work to keep baseNode available but it depends on third parties such as Meta, hosting and payment providers, so we cannot promise uninterrupted service. Support is by the in-app Help form and our contact details, with replies in two business days.

9. Liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the event. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Cancellation and termination

You can cancel your paid plan at any time in the app. We may end an account for serious or repeated breach of these terms. Refunds are covered in the Refund and cancellation policy.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Andhra Pradesh have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights. We may update these terms; continued use after the effective date means you accept the update.
